AI Usage Policy

Version 1.1 - Effective Date: December 29, 2025

1. Introduction

This AI Usage Policy ("Policy") governs your use of artificial intelligence models and tools provided through JAI Portal ("Service"). This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and provides specific guidance on responsible AI usage. By using our AI services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

2. Scope of AI Services

JAI Portal provides access to over 300 AI models across multiple categories:

  • Image Generation: Text-to-image, image-to-image, and style transfer models
  • Video Generation: Text-to-video, image-to-video, and video editing models
  • Audio Generation: Music generation, sound effects, and text-to-speech models
  • Image Editing: Upscaling, background removal, face swap, and enhancement tools
  • Specialized Tools: 3D generation, lip sync, reframing, and sticker creation

3. Acceptable Use Guidelines

You agree to use AI services responsibly and in compliance with the following guidelines:

Creative and Commercial Use

  • Generate original creative content for personal or commercial projects
  • Create marketing materials, artwork, and multimedia content
  • Develop prototypes and concept designs
  • Educational and research purposes

Content Quality and Accuracy

  • Review all AI-generated content before use or publication
  • Understand that AI models may produce inaccurate or biased results
  • Verify factual information independently
  • Use appropriate disclaimers when sharing AI-generated content

4. Prohibited Uses

You must not use our AI services to create or generate:

Illegal Content

  • Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Material that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Fraudulent or deceptive content
  • Content promoting illegal activities

Harmful Content

  • Illegal or harmful sexual content, including:
    • Any sexual content involving minors
    • Non-consensual or exploitative sexual material
    • Sexual violence or abuse
    • Content prohibited by law or by the applicable AI model provider
  • Violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm
  • Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory content
  • Content harmful to minors
  • Hate speech or content promoting discrimination

Adult Content (18+) - Platform Policy

Adult (18+) content generation is disabled by default on the Platform.

Access to adult content features may be enabled only by authorized administrators for limited purposes such as:

  • Testing and quality assurance
  • Content moderation
  • Abuse prevention and detection
  • Platform security
  • Legal compliance

End users are not permitted to enable or access adult content generation unless explicitly authorized by JAI Portal.

Where adult content generation is authorized, users must confirm they are 18 years of age or older, and the content must not violate any law, third-party policy, or be intended for distribution to minors.

Deceptive Practices

  • Deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive
  • Impersonation of real individuals without consent
  • Misinformation or disinformation campaigns
  • Content designed to manipulate elections or democratic processes

5. Intellectual Property Considerations

Input Content: Ensure you have rights to use any copyrighted material as input to AI models. Do not upload content owned by others without proper authorization.

Generated Content: While you own AI-generated outputs (subject to our Terms of Service), be aware that:

  • Similar outputs may be generated for other users
  • AI models are trained on diverse datasets which may influence outputs
  • Some jurisdictions may have specific rules about AI-generated content ownership
  • Attribution requirements may apply for certain types of generated content

6. Privacy and Data Handling

When using AI services:

  • Do not input personal information of others without consent
  • Be cautious when using identifiable images of real people
  • Understand that inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers
  • Review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling
  • Generated content is stored for 30 days and then automatically deleted

Third-Party Personal Data (GDPR Notice)

Users must not input, upload, or generate personal data of third parties unless they have a valid legal basis and all required consents under applicable data protection laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Names, addresses, identification numbers
  • Biometric data (faces, voices)
  • Private communications
  • Sensitive or special category personal data

JAI Portal does not determine the content of user prompts and is not responsible for unlawful personal data submitted by users.

7. Model-Specific Guidelines

Face Swap, Voice, and Likeness-Based Models

For face swap, voice cloning, or likeness-based models, users may only upload or generate content involving:

  • Themselves, or
  • Individuals for whom they have obtained explicit consent

⚠️ Generating or simulating real persons without consent is strictly prohibited.

  • Label generated content as AI-created when sharing publicly
  • Do not create content intended to deceive or harm others
  • Respect privacy rights and local regulations

Voice and Audio Models

  • Do not clone voices without explicit consent
  • Avoid generating content that could impersonate real individuals
  • Respect copyright for music and audio content

8. Platform Integrity

To maintain service quality and fairness:

  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer or extract AI models
  • Avoid automated or bulk usage without authorization
  • Do not share account credentials or resell access
  • Report suspected violations or abuse
  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas

9. Content Moderation

JAI Portal employs various measures to ensure policy compliance:

  • Automated content filtering systems
  • Manual review processes for flagged content
  • User reporting mechanisms
  • Regular policy enforcement audits

We reserve the right to remove content that violates this Policy and may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations.

10. Third-Party AI Providers

The Service integrates multiple third-party artificial intelligence models and APIs. Each model may be subject to its own usage rules, restrictions, content policies, and technical limitations imposed by the respective provider.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of any model complies with all applicable third-party provider policies, in addition to JAI Portal's Terms and AI Usage Policy.

JAI Portal does not control or modify third-party provider policies and is not responsible for enforcement actions, suspensions, limitations, or access restrictions imposed by such providers.

11. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or usage that violates this Policy, please report it immediately:

  • Include details about the violation and relevant evidence
  • We investigate all reports and take appropriate action

12. Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Content removal or moderation
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Forfeiture of unused credits
  • Legal action where appropriate

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this AI Usage Policy as our services evolve and new AI technologies become available. Changes will be communicated through:

  • Email notifications to registered users
  • Platform announcements
  • Updated policy publication with revision date

Continued use of our services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
